About The Lymph Current

The Lymph Current is a lymph-focused practice devoted to restoring the body’s natural current: fluid movement and tissue glide.

All sessions are completed by a certified lymph practitioner.
Yvette is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) trained in Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) and Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT).

The Lymph Current focuses on four lanes, and each lane has a different “why”:

  1. Manual Lymph Drainage (Vodder technique): A gentle, whole-system lymph massage designed to support lymphatic flow and reduce congestion without deep pressure. This is clinically grounded work that is best for individuals struggling with lymphatic overload, have generalized puffiness, or who are post surgery. Specialized 135+ hour CLT training in MLD and CDT completed with The Academy of Lympathic Studies, a leading national education institution.

  2. Authentic Brazilian Lymphatic Sculpting: A more active lymphatic technique that combines drainage sequencing with sculpting-style strokes for visible de-bloating and contour emphasis, while still respecting pathways and sequencing. This is best for clients who want a more immediate strong flush effect, waist definition, and less puffy look and feel. Specialized 100+ hour training completed with Josie Rushing of Brazilian Beauty Formula, a celebrity lympathic sculptor.

  3. Maderotherapy Therapy (wood therapy): An active fascia-focused wooden-tool method used to work with the terrain of the body, not just the surface. This technique mobilizes dense tissue, softens cellulite patterns, improves glide, and supports fascia mobility, and circulation. Specialized 70+ hour training completed in Bali under the French evolution of the original Colombian Technique, a lineage integrating specialized protocols for body contouring and lymphatic drainage.

  4. Decongestive Fascia Therapy: A lymph + fascia approach that prioritizes decongestion through tissue softening, adhesion work, and restoring glide in held areas. This technique is designed for dense lower-body congestion and lipedema-style patterns. Specialized 50-hour training completed Kauaʻi, Hawaiʻi in a clinically-informed bodywork curriculum emphasizing deep tissue + myofascial techniques and structural integration approaches.

A Personal Note From The Owner:

The Lymph Current is led by me, Yvette. Welcome!
I’m a practitioner devoted to the quiet intelligence of the body: its currents, its patterns, its capacity to restore itself when given the right conditions. I’ve learned that the places where the body feels “stuck” are rarely random; they are convergences of fascia, fluid, history, and habit. Tissue is a language that I have committed my life to understanding.

My background includes intensive study of fascia, connective-tissue adhesion patterns, lymphatic flow, and the relationship between physical stagnation and emotional holding. My approach is slow, precise, fascia-focused bodywork designed to support deep decongestion and structural softness so that the waters of the body may flow with ease. My work focuses on an understanding of our body being our deepest friend, not a lifelong enemy.

My focus is always the same: restoring the lympathic current, easing adhesions, softening emotional and structural holding, and helping you feel clearer and more at home within your body. This work is as much about physiology as it is about reclamation. It steadies the nervous system, supports the lymphatic waters, and gives the fascia space to breathe again.
